Ishee's Discovery Tray
The teacher sets this up fresh every morning — directly linked to that day's story and lesson theme. When children arrive, they find 8–10 different ways to explore the same concept simultaneously. A child can pick up the magnifying glass, press the audio button, trace in sand, build with pegs, or dot with clay — all around a single letter or number. Every station is a different sensory entry point into the same concept.

Changes Weekly · Monday Morning Setup
Pratt's Wonder Corner
Set up every Monday morning with a small object swap — stays in place all week. This corner covers all four key concepts simultaneously: the week's letter, number, colour, and shape. Children visit independently throughout the day, choose their activity, and return freely. The character prompt cards (Penny leads discovery here) guide exploration without teacher intervention. This is the space where the week's learning consolidates through child-led, self-directed play.

Teacher operational note
Weekly setup guide on the LMS includes the object list, character card placement, and a one-page observation checklist. Teachers note which children visited and what they chose — feeding directly into observation-based assessment records.
